Open Sesames is my original merch line based on my cat Sesame and has expanded to include other animal characters. It's given me an opportunity to design cute and blissful merch. Although Sesame passed away recently in September 2025, this series represents her legacy. I will continue to draw her enjoying what life has to offer as I miss her dearly!
Characters
Sesame: grey and white domestic shorthair. She wears a bunny hat because she is very bunny-like. She enjoys grass, is extremely fluffy, and kicks with massive force. She is harmless and always looks unamused, but she loves pats, mayonnaise and chewing plastic.
Potato: orange and white domestic shorthair. There are speculations that he is Sesame's father, being one year older. He loves eating and has several moles under his lips. He wears an apple hat as he is la pomme de terre, a potato. His Cantonese name 薯仔 is synonymous with dummy which suits his orange personality.
